Caught May 3, 2003 in the Mississippi River. It has been
certified as the 2nd largest gar ever caught & a Mississippi record. Earl's
fish had a certified weight of 215 pounds with a total length of 7 feet,
11.5 inches & a 40 inch girth. It was caught with a homemade jig.
